Lot’s of things change as you get older and need hip replacement surgery. Here are a few examples.
Before Hip Replacement Surgery: I always thought that the only ‘Walker’ I would need late in life was ‘Johnnie.’
“Here’s Johnnie!” Or worst case, I thought my strange humor, would get even stranger.
After Hip Replacement Surgery: I never envisioned it would be aluminum frame to allow me to get around. If you are of average health or better, I would suggest buying a walker with front wheels.
Before Hip Replacement Surgery: I always thought that the only ‘Joint’ I would need late in life would be something like this.
After Hip Replacement Surgery: I never envisioned the joint I would need would be metal, plastic or ceramic.
Before Hip Replacement Surgery: I always thought others would look at me and think, “How hip!”
After Hip Replacement Surgery: Now people look at me and think, “Bad Hip.”
